SuMo

So I have wanted a motorcycle forever now, and have been researching them for ages trying to find one for me. After years of searching I have come to a decision. My first interest was a sportbike, I loved their styling and the "coolness" factor.

I decided these were to flashy and started looking at naked bikes and streetfighters, they looked even more badass than sportbikes and offered a more comfortable riding position. But they are as fast as sportbikes and both of the aforementioned bikes aren't cheap or for a new rider.

The idea of something cheaper sparked my interest in an older bike which could be customized into a bobber or cafe-racer style.  The coolness factor would be pretty high, but the fun-factor was lacking compared to the sportier bikes.

This has lead me to the supermoto style bikes. Able to ride on and offroad (sweet!) not crazy fast but far lighter and more fun than a sportbike at low speeds. Not to mention they are good beginner bikes. Here are some examples of the Suzuki DRZ400 SM, the bike I am aiming to make my first.

The ride height is to tall for my girlfriend and she doesnt really like the styling...so shes going to start with one of these: Kawasaki Ninja 250R.
